LCCA gives grants to local projects and community organizations to preserve and enhance the history and quality of life in the Logan Circle neighborhood.

LCCA’s giving priorities are: a) neighborhood beautification, b) social causes c) education and d) arts and culture. The average grant size is about $750.

Examples of recent grants that LCCA awarded are funds for maintenance of local park, the popular Little Goblins Parade and special programs at schools, including the Garrison Elementary School, which is partnering with the national Kindred Program that helps schools to bridge diverse communities.

In 2020 and 2021 to date, LCCA has awarded grants to the following neighborhood schools and organizations:

Grant Guidelines

  • LCCA considers grants from organizations within LCCA’s boundaries or is partnering with LCCA.
  • Grants will be made to other non-profit 501 (c)(3) organizations.
  • Grant applications need to show that the program or event promote and protect the interests of the residents of the Logan Circle neighborhood.
  • The grant may not be of advantageous benefit or profit to a LCCA member.
  • All promotional materials for the grantee must include that the project/program/event was funded "with support from Logan Circle Community Association."
  • The grant-receiving organization will announce the grant from LCCA through their social media.
  • Grant recipients will provide to LCCA a follow-up report that details how the funds were spent and the results of the project.
