Logan Circle’s history is one of changing times and changing fortunes. But even one hundred years ago, before the statue of General Logan was erected, the park at the intersection of 13th and P Streets was a place to gather to be away from the noise and bustle of city life.

The Logan Circle Community Association (LCCA) is one of the most effective and successful community associations in the District of Columbia. Established in 1972, it has achieved a remarkable record of steadily improving the environment and the quality of life in the Logan Circle area.
