34th ANNUAL LOGAN CIRCLE HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR

Mark your calendar for the first Sunday in December—a Logan Circle tradition! The annual Logan Circle Holiday House Tour is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, 2012, from 1 to 5 p.m. Plan to join us for a tour of traditional and contemporary homes in our neighborhood and wrap up the day with our Wassail reception from 3 to 5:30 p.m.As always, proceeds from the tour help fund the Logan Circle Community Association’s ongoing mission to improve the quality of life for residents and businesses in Logan Circle and all of Washington, DC. 2011 brought us one of the most successful House Tours ever! With over a thousand tickets sold, and generous Patron and Benefactor support, the 2011 House Tour netted $25,500 for LCCA’s use in funding community programs throughout the year. By comparison, net revenues in recent years have totaled $17,500 and $19,000. Quite a boost—and much needed as we prepare to invest in the implementation of the eagerly anticipated Logan Circle Heritage Trail!
Our sincere thanks to the homeowners who opened their homes to tour-goers galore, and to our enthusiastic, cheerful, flexible, gracious, hospitable, charismatic, indefatigable, unflappable, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious volunteers!!
